Your contribution of any size is important to The Center Foundation (TCF) and its programs. Unrestricted gifts from individuals leverage TCF's ability to attract funding from other sources like foundations and corporations.

One of the easiest ways to donate to The Center Foundation is through your office's workplace campaign. TCF is a Donor Choice agency of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. If your employer conducts a United Way campaign at your office, you can choose a charitable organization like The Center Foundation to receive a donation directly from your paycheck each month or pay period. The Agency's code number for a Donor Choice donation through the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is 12478. It may be many months before TCF knows of your gift unless you tell us. Please let us know about your gift by mailing or faxing a copy of your Donor Choice form to us.

Through Holiday from the Heart generous families, individuals, religious, and community groups have helped make the holidays special for low-income women, teen parents, and their children. All families that benefit are participants in The Center Foundation's WomenCare® mentoring program or Young Parents Support Network.

Our families range in size from a mother with one infant, to families of 6 or more. If sponsoring a whole family seems difficult, consider asking some friends to team up with you or simply tell us what you can do and we'll combine your giving with that of others. After receiving your registration form (Download here- we will send you this) we match you or your group with a family. Each sponsor receives a form listing the first names, ages, sizes, and interests of the family members as well as the holiday the family will be celebrating.

Sponsors deliver unwrapped gifts to our office at 220 North Jackson Street, Media. Additional volunteers help wrap and deliver gifts to the families.

Many of our families experience difficult times, not just at the holidays or in winter, but all throughout the year, where they sometimes have real needs for basic household equipment and furnishings. Particularly difficult are transitions of moving into new living quarters, and birthdays of the teens, moms and their children happen all year. New babies especially, place a strain on families that our gift baskets from generous donors ease. So we're expanding our Holiday from the Heart program to all year.
